Atelier Medical Aesthetics was created to offer something different. A boutique, doctor-delivered cosmetic medicine practice in Canberra, where education comes before treatment, clinical judgement comes before trends, and patients are given the time and knowledge to make informed decisions with confidence.

Aesthetic medicine can feel overwhelming. There are endless opinions, evolving technologies and treatments that are not always easy to compare. At Atelier, the process begins with a thoughtful conversation about what matters to you, what is clinically appropriate and whether treatment is needed at all.
Every consultation takes place in a calm, private environment where discretion is respected and appointments are intentionally unhurried. There is time to ask questions, understand your options and make considered decisions without pressure. Appointment scheduling is also designed to minimise waiting, because respecting your time is part of exceptional care.
Whether care is simple or complex, the approach remains the same: careful assessment, thoughtful planning and precision. Every recommendation is personalised, because subtle differences in anatomy, medical history and individual priorities can influence both safety and outcome.
The goal is never to perform more treatment than necessary. It is to identify the right approach for the individual, using evidence-supported techniques and clinical judgement refined through experience.

Every product, technology and treatment offered at Atelier has been carefully selected for its safety, scientific evidence and clinical performance. Patients deserve considered recommendations and meticulous care, not decisions shaped by marketing or the pressure to pursue what is newest.

My hope is that every patient who walks through our doors leaves feeling lighter than when they arrived.
Not because they have necessarily had treatment, but because they have been heard, educated and genuinely cared for. I want every patient to feel confident in the decision they have made, whether that is choosing treatment, deciding to wait or deciding not to proceed at all. Dr Hollie Berghofer is a Canberra cosmetic doctor with more than 15 years of clinical experience across rural general practice, emergency medicine, obstetrics, procedural medicine and medical education.
Her approach to cosmetic medicine combines medical assessment, facial anatomy, diagnostic ultrasound and evidence-based treatment planning. Education is central to every consultation, giving patients the time and information to understand their options and make informed decisions about their care.
Dr Hollie believes cosmetic medicine should feel considered rather than pressured. Treatment is recommended only when clinically appropriate, with a focus on individual anatomy, patient safety and natural-looking outcomes.

Cosmetic Medicine Training:
Dr Hollie has undertaken postgraduate training in cosmetic medicine throughout her aesthetic practice and continues to undertake advanced education in facial anatomy, injectable treatments, ultrasound, laser and energy-based technologies, skin health and regenerative medicine. She is currently a Registrar with the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (ACCSM) and participates in ongoing college education, clinical meetings and professional development.

Facial Ultrasound
Dr Hollie has more than a decade of experience using diagnostic ultrasound in clinical medicine, with additional training in its application to facial anatomy and cosmetic procedures. At Atelier, facial ultrasound may be incorporated into selected consultations and procedures to visualise anatomy in real time, support treatment planning and procedural precision, and assist in the assessment of previous treatments or complications.

Dr Hollie has more than 15 years of clinical experience across rural general practice, emergency medicine, obstetrics, procedural medicine and medical education. She has also spent more than a decade teaching, supervising and mentoring doctors in training. This background in medical education continues to influence her approach at Atelier, where patient education and informed decision-making are central to every consultation.
